Manual Dough Sheeter that CS aerotherm manufactures is highly competent and is mainly used for kneading and pressing soft or hard textured dough. Replacing Mechanical Components
Adjusting the Handle for Thickness of Dough
- Switch off the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Using a 5 mm allen key, loosen and remove the M6 allen bolts by turning them anit-clockwise. There are a total of 10 allen bolts.
- To adjust the handle locate the M6 allen bolt on the handle and using a 5mm allen key, loosen it by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Match the handle lever with the teeth of the handle lever and the teeth of the guide.
- Once it's matched using the 5mm allen key tighten the M6 allen bolt clockwise.
- Using a 5 mm allen key, put back and tighten the M6 bolts removed in point 1 by rotating them clockwise.
- The handle should be perfectly synchronised now.
- Plug the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
To replace the Spring in the Handle
- Switch off the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Using the above procedure, remove the handle.
- Using an 2.5mm allen key, loosen the 4mm grub screw.
- Locate the spring attached to the grub screw and the other end to the lever profile.
- Tighten the grub screw by rotating it clockwise by using the 2.5 mm allen key.
- The spring should be tightened now.
- Plug the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
Replacing the Roller
- Switch off the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Using a 24 mm spanner, remove the both the M16 bolts, located at the sides of the belt near the roller holding the belt.
- Using an M6 allen key, loosen and remove the M8 allen bolts holding the roller in place on both the sides of the roller.
- Remove the roller and place it on the side.
- Put the new roller in place of the roller which was removed.
- Put back the M8 allen bolts on the side of the roller and tighten them with them M6 allen key.
- Tighten the M16 bolts which were loosened in point 2 using an 24 mm spanner until the belt is tight.
- The new roller should be firm and the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM is ready to use.
- Plug the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
Replacing the Belts
Dismantling
- Switch off the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Remove handle as shown in Point 1.1
- Remove the guide teeth as well as mentioned in Point 1.1
- Locate the chuck nuts on the sides of the cover.
- Loosen and remove them using a nose plier.
- Locate the chain and dismantle it from the gear. Keep it to a side.
- Using a 3mm allen key, remove the 6mm grub screw by rotating it anti-clockwise. Keep it aside.
- The sprocket can then be removed.
- Using a 4mm allen key, remove the M6 countersink bolt by rotating it anit-clockwise. Keep it aside.
- Next to the roller locate the 6mm button head screw.
- Using a 4mm allen key, remove the same by rotating it anti-clockwise. Keep it aside.
- A nylon bush in between the plates the should be visible now. Please remove the same and keep it aside. Picture on the right.
- Using a 10-11 mm spanner, remove the M6 hexagonal bolt holding the plate by rotating it anti-clockwise and keep it aside.
- Remove the scrapper by using slight force to the attached spring. Keep this aside.
- Using a mallet, remove the belt roller from the side of the pulley. This will remove the belt.
- Using a 16-17 mm spanner, remove the M10 bolts holding the support of the belt by rotating it anti-clockwise.
- The tray can be dismantled and kept aside.
- The belt can be removed and the new belt in the same position.
Assembly
- Put back the tray removed in point 17.
- Using a 16-17 mm spanner, put back the M10 bolts that were holding the support (As mentioned in point 16 above) of the belt by rotating them clockwise.
- Put back the belt roller in place by inserting in the side of the pulley.
- Put back the scrapper and attach it to the spring.
- Put back the M6 hexagonal bolts which were removed in point 13, and tighten them using a 10-11 mm spanner.
- Put back the nylon bush which was removed in point 12.
- Put back the button screw, which was removed in point 10 and using a 4 mm allen key tighten the same by rotating it clockwise.
- Put back the M6 countersink bolt which was removed in point 9 and using a 4mm allen key, tighten the same by rotating it clockwise.
- Put back the sprocket which was removed in point 8.
- Put back the 6mm grub screw removed in point 7 and using a 3mm allen key, tighten it by rotating it clockwise.
- Assembly the chain back into the gear.
- Put back the cover and the chuck nuts holding the cover.
- Ensure the handle and ensure the teeth match as mentioned above.
- Plug the Manual Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
Replacing Electrical Components
Replacing the Contactor
To change the contactor, the following need to be done:
- Switch off the Dough Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Open the control panel on the side by removing the lock.
- Locate the contactor that has tripped.
- Untrip the contactor that has tripped by pushing on the green switch.
- If it continues tripping, the contactor needs to be changed.
- Remove the RYB Cables from the contactor both from the input and output size by using a tester and rotating the screw in the contactor where the wires are inserted into the contactor Please note the location of the cables.
- Using a tester remove the screws of the contactor and keep the contactor aside.
- Replace the conactor with the corresponding contactor in the same location.
- The contactor specifications for the Dough Sheeter CS-DSM are 12A 24V DC.
- Once the contactor is removed, put the new one in place of that.
- Put back the input and output wires which were removed in point 6 using a tester. Please ensure the wires are matching the same colour coding.
- Close the electrical panel cover and lock the same.
- Plug the Dough Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
Replacing the Relay
To replace the relay, the following need to be done:
- Switch off the Dough Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Open the control panel on the side by removing the lock.
- The specifications of the Over Load Relay are 1.6A-2.5A.
- Remove the existing relay by unlocking it first and then pulling it out. Keep it to a side.
- Insert the new relay and lock it.
- Close the electrical panel cover and lock the same.
- Plug the Dough Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
Replacing the Emergency Switch
To change the switch, the following need to be done:
- Switch off the Manual Dough Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Open the control panel on the side by removing the lock.
- Remove the connections for the Emergency switch using a tester. Please note the connections.
- Unscrew the switch by loosening the 2 screws on the switch using a tester and remove the emergency switch from the panel by turning it anti-clockwise.# Put the new emergency switch in place of this and rotate it clockwise to ensure it's tight.
- The ratings for the emergency switch are 10A 415V with a dia of 22mm.
- Connect the new connections in the same colour coding and place it as removed from.
- Close the electrical panel cover and lock the same.
- Plug the Manual Dough Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
Replacing the Start Stop Switch
To change the Start Stop switch, the following need to be done:
- Switch off the Manual Dough Sheeter CS-DSM and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Open the control panel on the side by removing the lock.
- Remove the connections for the start stop switch using a tester. Please note the connections.
- Unscrew the switch by loosening the 2 screws on the switch using a tester and remove the start stop switch from the panel by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Put the new emergency switch in place of this and rotate it clockwise to ensure it's tight.
- The ratings for the start stop switch are 10A 415V with a dia of 22mm.
- Connect the new connections in the same colour coding and place it as removed from.
- Close the electrical panel cover and lock the same.
- Plug the Manual Dough Sheeter CS-DSM back into the socket and switch it on.
