Replacing the Spiral Arm
To change the Spiral Arm, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Switch off the Spiral Mixer and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Locate the Bolts holding the arm in place at the bottom of the head of the Mixer.
- Using a 30 mm spanner, remove the bigger bolt holding the arm in place by turning it anti-clockwise. This is present only the CSM-25. The CSM-50/CSM-75 do not have this. Keep the washers in the bolt itself, since they need to reused.
- Using an allen key bolts as well. Keep the washers in the bolt itself, since they need to be reused.
- Once removed, place the new arm in the same position.
- Ensure the bolt holds are matching.
- Tighten the Allen Bolts using the allen key by turning them clockwise accordingly.
- Put back the 30 mm bolt in place with the washers and tighten it. This is present only in CSM-25. The CSM-50/CSM-75 do not have this.
- Plug the Spiral Mixer back into the socket and switch it on.
- The Fixed Bowl Spiral Mixer is ready to use.

- Once removed, place them on the side.
- Remove the bowl that has to be changed.
- Clean the bowl support base thoroughly and ensure there are no dust particles.
- Place a new bowl in its place.
- Using the same 18-19 mm spanner, put back the screws with the washers by turning them clockwise.
- Fixed Bowl Spiral Mixer is ready to use.
- Always tighten the opposite side nuts first to ensure proper balancing.
- Once fully tight, rotate it to check for proper balancing.

- Remove the connector by removing the clip and pull the connector out.
- Place the top cover safely next to the Fixed Bowl Spiral Mixer.
- Loosen the tensioning of the motor, by unscrewing the 12 mm screws by using an 18 mm spanner located below the pulley by turning them anti-clockwise.
- Remove the belts (CSM-25 has 4 belts, CSM-50 has 6 belts and CSM-75 has 6 Belts).
- Once removed, place it to a side.
- Put the new belts in place of the existing ones.
- Tighten the tensioning of the belts by adjusting the position of the motor and pulley.
- Once the belt is tightened, tighten the 12 mm screws of the motor by turning them clockwise using the 18 mm spanner.
- Also tighten the 12 mm screws of the pulley by turning them clockwise using the 18 mm spanner.
- Ensure both the screws are completely tight.
- While putting the top cover back on, connect the electrical connector tightly and ensure the clip is put back tightly.
- Place/Put the top cover and tighten the 12 mm screw by turning it clockwise using the 18-19 mm spanner.
- Plug the Spiral Mixer back into the socket and switch it on.
- Ensure there is no sound and check if the Fixed Bowl Spiral Mixer is working fine.
Replacing the Motor
To change the Motor, the following need to be done:
Dismantling
- Switch off the Spiral Mixer and unplug the machine and ensure there is no power.
- Using an 18-19mm spanner remove the 12mm bolt on the top cover by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Using an 18-19mm spanner, remove the 4 12mm bolts on each side of the motor by turning it anti-clockwise.
- The motor will loosen up.
- Using an 18-19mm spanner, remove 12mm bolt the used for tensioning the belts, remove that by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Remove the belts from both the motor and pulley and place is aside.
- Using a 10mm allen key, remove the 4 12mm allen bolts located on each side of the motor support plate by turning it anti-clockwise.
