User Manual - Moulder CSM-MM-2200 / LM-1500 / LM-2800
The Long Moulder is designed for moulding long loaves of bread and rusk toast. It’s sturdy construction makes the machine suitable for use in automatic and semi automatic bread and rusk production plants. We offer a compact and competent range of Long Moulders with Teflon coated rollers that prevent dough from sticking.
Casters make the machine operate silently. You can choose between SS and MS for the body frame. Moulding tables and side guards can be changed swiftly. It has safety assurance of CE standards. Centring rollers are provided to ensure that dough falls exactly in the middle and passes through the Teflon coated rollers.
Safety measures
The machine was designed and constructed by taking into account the technical conducting of the machine as well as adequate regulations, but when working with the machine and during maintenance work dangers can arise.
General warnings
- Before the application of machine, the staff running, Working near, cleaning and maintaining it, must carefully read and understand, the instructions for machine application. Instructions have to be always available to the staff.
- In case of injury or instructions losses ask for a new issue of instructions for use. It is forbidden to use the machine beside removed and non functional safety and protection appliances.
- Strictly observe danger warnings (Light, sound and labels), All warning labels and plates of the machine must be clearly visible for the whole machine lifetime - all damaged parts must be immediately changed! Along with safety warnings written in these instructions, the staff must take into consideration general safety instructions, local and national instructions in the field of safety at work.
- The machine can be used only for the purpose determined by the manufacturer which are described in these instructions. The manufacturer does not undertake any responsibility for consequences arisen from ignoring these instructions.
Dangers when working with the machine
Dangerous functions of the machine
- The machine operator is responsible for his/her safety and safety of others people working by the machine or stay in dangerous areas of the machine.
- Before switching on machine’s dangerous functions which could put the staff in danger or injury them, the machine operator should assure himself/herself that a switching on function does not provoke danger for the environment.
- If machine is directed from the second place in technological line pay attention at the potential remote switching on.
Dangerous parts of the machine
- Dangerous machine parts are protected with the safety covers. During machine operation the safety covers must be Fixed on their places! the keys of safety covers must be kept by a responsible person outside the machine area.
- During operation it is forbidden to open any of the safety covers. Extending hands in the protected areas during machine operation can cause serious body injuries.
- The dangerous machine parts are: Rotation of moulding rollers in the moulding head.
- The rollers are protected with protective Cover on the head and transparent window. do not remove protective covers and do not open the windows! fissures between the moulding desk for loaves and lower conveyor belt. This is a technological opening, thus it must be additionally protected.
- Do not extend hands under the moulding desk for loaves.

Working environment
Working environment of the machine must be always tidy and clean. Floor around the machine must be clean and non-greasy. It is forbidden to dispose any kind of objects on the machine, especially any objects that could enter into movable parts pf the machine or damage it!
Protective gear(cloth)
The machine operators working by the machine should be dressed in adequate clothes it is forbidden to wear any kind of objects, necklaces, adornments and loosen clothes which could be caught in movable parts of the machine or could fall in the machine. Long hair must be also protected with an adequate covering.
Staff - machine operators
The machine operators should be skilled and responsible in order to provide safe machine operation. The machine operator should not drink alcohol, take drugs are sedatives when while working with the machine. Do not intervene in the areas of machine during its operation!
Assembly
The connection to the electric supply network should be performed by a qualified and responsible person only who should take into consideration all current regulations and standards.
Machine start-up
Before first start-up make sure that all the assembly work has been done that all assembly tools and instruments have been removed. Inadequate and unnished assembly work can damage the machine and cause dangerous situations
Cleaning and maintenance
Maintenance work should be performed only by an authorized and qualied person. When working, cleaning and performing maintenance work strictly observe the general safety regulations! Before cleaning and maintenance work switch of the man switch and pull out the electrical plug! It is forbidden to wash the machine! All electrical components must be protected against water and high moisture level. When cleaning and performing maintenance work use adequate hands protection agents.

Transportation and Assembly
Transport
The machine is supplied to the purchaser adequately protected for delivery and packed into a prescribed or agreed packing in order to enable lifting and transport by a forklift or any other transport appliances. Check if the machine was damaged when supplied and transported! Communicate about the damage made to the transport operator and supplier!
Warning! During the transport set up the machine units as marked on the packing, and protect them against displacement.
Machine installation and assembly
Put the machine in desired area. Remove the protecting machine packaging and place it separately (wood, PVC) in environment friendly area. Make sure that the foreseen area around the machine enables you safe and effective work with the machine. the machine is equipped with the regulation legs, however, it is recommended that it is anchored in the oor after nished assembly. By unwinding or screwing down these legs place the machine in correct horizontal position.
Machine Operation
Working area description
- Depending on the buyer’s order, the machine can work independently or it can be part of the automated technological line. In the rst case the elements for machine switching on/off are installed on the machine.
- In case of installation into a technological line., some operation elements are transmitted on the level of operation with the technological line. In no case there is a foreseen workplace by the machine. In case of operation on the machine itself, there is a foreseen workplace by the control side. there is an installed electrical cabinet, the elements for setting of the machine technological parameters are also accessible; moulding rollers speed, spaces between the moulding rollers, moulding desks' height space between the side racks.
Emergency Stop: In case of danger press the emergency stop button (Red mushroom button on control desk or on the machine) to stop machine from operating.
Machine Removal and Dismantling
- In dismantling process it is obligatory to observe regulations and acts regulating this activity in your environment.
- Installed materials should be divided and disposed on the adequate disposing pointer or collecting point.
- Machine is mainly composed of stainless steel. However, there are also other materials present, such as, common construction steel, aluminum, rubber and plastic.
